Could you walk us through your career journey into digital transformation, from India to UAE?
I began my career in India solving complex tech challenges, where process mattered as much as technology. Moving to UAE 17 years ago felt like stepping into a faster race track, and I’ve since worked across government, exhibitions, and real estate—always focusing on aligning people, process, and technology.
What hobbies inspire your professional journey?
I’m an amateur marathon runner and sports enthusiast. Running teaches endurance, pacing, and focus—values I apply in digital transformation, which I see as a marathon, not a sprint.
Who do you admire as global real estate tech leaders?
Robert Refkin (Compass) for automating the mundane so agents focus on relationships, and Don Faf (My State MLS) for empowering agents with true data ownership.
Why did you choose real estate over other industries?
Real estate in UAE isn’t just local, it’s global and fast-paced. To me, it’s like an ultra-marathon—success isn’t about running fastest but running smartest and sustaining growth.
How is digital transformation redefining real estate today?
AI CRMs, predictive analytics, IoT-enabled property management, blockchain contracts, and dynamic pricing are reshaping sales, operations, and investments. The focus is on agility, efficiency, and smarter growth.
What challenges have you faced in implementing digital strategies?
Resistance to change, misaligned processes, siloed data, and unrealistic expectations are common. Transformation succeeds only with aligned intent, clean data, co-created processes, and people-first leadership.
What technologies do you see shaping the future of PropTech?
Real estate tokenization (democratizing ownership & unlocking liquidity) and AI-powered predictive analytics (driving smarter investments & strategies) will be game-changers in UAE.
What advice would you give aspiring leaders in real estate digital transformation?
Start with a clear vision, keep it human-centric, foster cross-department collaboration, focus on data-driven decisions, and always measure success in business terms—not just tech terms.
How is UAE embracing PropTech compared to other countries?
UAE is a global leader with initiatives like Smart Dubai and Blockchain Strategy. Unlike traditional markets, it’s rethinking real estate ground-up, creating an innovation ecosystem for global PropTech.
What role do you see for yourself in UAE’s PropTech future?
I see myself as a catalyst—partnering with visionary businesses, scaling intentionally, and applying a marathon mindset to drive sustainable digital transformation in real estate.
